For the fourth consecutive year, Buddy Dive Resort is proud to organize the Buddy Dive Freediving Event in
2012 hosted by Brazilian freediver, Karol Meyer. Karol broke 7 world records in her career and she is
considered one of the most complete athletes in the sport history. Karol will host evening presentations to
share her exciting adventures, Freediving Adventures, where you’ll share special moments with the champion
and also a Freediving Clinic, for those interested.

 BONAIRE PREVAILS WITH 9 AWARDS IN SCUBA DIVING MAGAZINE’S READER’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012

**Six #1 Rankings Including Best Overall Destination in the Caribbean/Atlantic Exceeding All Other Destinations**

The island of Bonaire has swept top honors receiving six #1 Ratings, which is more than any other destination scored in the Caribbean/Atlantic category, while continuing its reign as one of the top diving destinations. For the tenth consecutive year, Bonaire has taken first place for Best Overall Destination and island for Best Shore Diving.
 
Bonaire received first place in four other Caribbean/Atlantic categories: Best Marine Life, Best Macro Life, Best Destination For Snorkeling, and Best Destination For Value For Diving.  It also received second place ratings in the categories of Best Marine Environment, Best Visibility and Best Destination for Diving for a total of nine awards for 2012.

For the Readers’ Choice Awards, thousands of Scuba Diving subscribers and web users rated their dive experiences on a scale of one to five. Results of the 2012 Awards are featured in the January/February 2012 issue of Scuba Diving magazine.

**New Low Introductory Airfare for Insel Air’s Charlotte Flight Now Through August 13**

Kralendijk, Bonaire – (July 8, 2011) – Bonaire Tourism Corporation is pleased to announce that Insel Air introduces their new service from Charlotte, NC to Bonaire on Wednesdays and Saturdays, perfect for travelers visiting the island to see the natural beauty that lies above and below the pristine waters.

 “We are thrilled to welcome these new Insel Air flights, which compliment the airline’s existing nonstop service to island from Miami,” said Lara Chirino, Director of Tourism for Tourism Corporation Bonaire.  “The timing of the Charlotte service is ideal to allow for passengers to connect from more US and Canadian gateway cities, thereby effectively broadening our visitor market base.”

The booking window for the introductory fare is valid now through August 13, 2011, for travel until December 14, 2011. The fare includes government taxes, surcharges and the Bonaire airport departure tax.

The flight will depart from Charlotte/Douglas International Airport (CLT) and arrive into Bonaire International Airport (BON) via Curacao (CUR).
