Ned & Anna DeLoach at Buddy Dive

In conjunction with our Marine Life Education Programs, we are pleased to announce the return of Ned and Anna DeLoach for the eighth consecutive year to Buddy Dive Resort. World-renowned naturalists and marine life authors, Ned and Anna will offer seminars and slide shows on fish behavior, coral and fish identification, as well as guide dive trips.

Most of Bonaire’s coral spawning will occur during the time that Ned and Anna are here. Divers who are interested in the coral spawning and other phenomena which occurs on the reef should not hesitate to approach Ned and Anna with their questions. They are specialists and love to share their expertise!

PADI Member Recognition Award – Buddy Dive Resort

Buddy Dive Resort and Academy was nominated and selected as one of the regional winners in the PADI Regional Awards 2010.

The PADI Recognition Awards were given to PADI Dive Centers and Resorts who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of diving. All PADI Dive Centers and Resorts within eleven regions were considered for nomination by PADI staff, who then selected finalists for each of the regional awards.

We are pleased to announce that Buddy Dive was nominated for the Regional Instructor Development Award and was awarded a framed certificate for this achievement.

Also, Buddy Dive was nominated for the Outstanding Business Award, which recognizes outstanding business performance, initiatives and achievements across all areas of business operations.   We are even more excited to announce that Buddy Dive was chosen as the Regional winner and received a plaque in recognition this high achievement!

Buddy Dive would like to thank PADI for this nomination and subsequent selection as one of the winners in the Regional Recognition Awards 2010.

For the third consecutive year, Buddy Dive Resort is proud to present the Buddy Dive Freediving event 2011, hosted by the famous Brazilian freediving, Karol Mayer. Karol broke 7 world records in her career (e.g. Guinness Book of Records 2011 - Static Apnea 18min and 32sec, World Record - Tandem no Limits 121m of depth,  South American Record - Variable Weight 93m of depth) and she is considered one of the most complete athletes in the sport history.

From July 31st till August 14th 2011, Buddy Dive welcomes Karol again as their guest. This year she will host evening presentation to share her exciting adventures, special workshops “Breathing/Apnea Tips” where you’ll share special moments with the champion and also 2-days of Freediving Clinic, for those interested. For only $195*!
